“Whenever I travel to a new city, one of the first things I do is search out a part of that city with a great vista so that I can soak up the rhythms of the place before exploring it’s specific delights. Quite often this first encounter is accompanied by a playlist very similar in tone to this mix so that I have a soundtrack to instantly transport me back whenever I feel the need. So often when dealing with the drudgery of public transport having something that can instantly transport me a thousand miles away not only removes the tedium of the journey at hand but has me plotting new vistas to explore at some point in the future.”
